An Antiabortion Activist Was Arrested After Climbing Salesforce Tower in San Francisco
22-year-old Maison Des Champs was taken into custody, police say he says on social media he climbed the building to protest abortion
A man was arrested Tuesday in San Francisco after scaling the city’s tallest building, known as Salesforce Tower, in what he said was a protest against abortion.
The San Francisco Police Department said officers were flagged at around 9:20 a.m. local time about the climber, who was already several floors up the building. He was taken into custody by police about an hour and a half later after he made it to the top of the 61-story building.
